A quilted shell cut regular through the body, with a stand-up collar that holds its line when the zip is closed. Lightweight for the warmth it gives, and soft enough that it doesn't announce itself on the way out the door.
Polyester outer over a black quilted lining, with two side pockets set deep enough to be useful. Sewn-in label.
Regular fit. Take your usual size; the cut allows for a layer underneath.
